The History of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) Network

In the era of telecommunication technology, speed, and economic factors become the main focus in the delivery of information. This is what initiated the scientists to create a telecommunications technology that is fast, inexpensive, and broad coverage. These developments began to appear with the 1G technology. After a time, 1G technology is considered start obsolete then comes the 2G technologies are divided into two types, the GSM and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology.

Code Division Multiple Access or is often abbreviated with CDMA is a multiplexing (not a modulation scheme) and a common access method that divides the channel is not based on time (as in TDMA) or frequency (as in FDMA), but a way of encoding data with a special code associated with each channel that exists and uses the constructive interference properties of the code-it's a special code to do the multiplexing. CDMA refers to digital cellular telephone system that uses a shared access scheme was initiated as QUALCOMM.

This wireless technology is basically born because of the electromagnetic wave theory proposed by Maxwell in the 1850s. The existence of electromagnetic waves is further evidenced by H.Hertz in 1888. Then in 1895 Guillermo Marconi transmits radio waves for the first time. In 1901 Marconi uses radio waves for transmission distance (transatlantic) with his Morse code. Along the development of electronics engineering in 1906 since electromagnetic waves used for the system began broadcasting (broadcasting). In the broadcasting system is an electromagnetic wave is a carrier of information and entertainment requirements. Further development of the broadcasting occurs rapidly in the 1920’s; when in houses have existing wireless receiver.
