For users of LCD monitors, LCD after use for some time, sometimes up to a point on the screen cannot display colors properly. Point on the screen is only visible [light] the same thing when changing the monitor display though. So often reduces the quality of the display.

Find out / Check for the Dead Pixel

Looking for Dead Pixels
To find any dead pixels with this software, follow the following steps:
- Clean the monitor
- Run PixelRepairer
- If the search is not active, activate the Search button, the existing loop drawings, the upper left
- If more than one monitor is connected, select one
- Select one color in the color list (Pattern)
- Click the Enable button, thereby changing the color display monitor or a pattern.
- Check the monitor, if there is a point / pixel having a color other than the selected color, means that there are dead pixels on the monitor
- To exit, right click the screen or press the ESC keyboard
If the dead pixel is found on the screen, remember its position so that it can do the following improvements.
Dead Pixel Repair
When the monitor is found dead pixel or a pixel is broken, you can try to make improvements to the software above. Following steps (these steps is executed if the previous step Seeking Dead Pixel is running and the dead pixel already in the know location):
- Run PixelRepairer
- Click the Repair button (button / image second from top)
- Add the repair area, by clicking the Add button, so the small box will appear called a "Repairer". We can adjust the sliding size option at the bottom.
- Drag a small box "Repairer" to a position where there is a dead pixel
- Select the operating mode: noise or solid. If the noise does not succeed, try again by choosing a solid option.
- Select the size of the improvements, must include areas where there is a dead pixel
- Set the frequency equal to the frequency of the monitor. If not changed, usually frequency 60Hz
- If Dead pixels are in some places, add the Area "Repairer" other
- Minimize the program window
- Wait about an hour. You can use the computer as usual.
Sometimes the damage is permanent pixel; because it was severe enough cannot be repaired anymore, so that the software does not always guarantee 100% success.
